Privacy

We never see what you check.

Pictures and text you give SecBernard are read and analysed inside your browser. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they are not stored after you close or reload the page.

What this website does

It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. All scripts, fonts, images and the reading engine are served from this site.

What your hosting provider may keep

Like any website, the server that delivers this page may keep standard technical logs, such as your IP address, the time and the page requested. These do not contain anything you check.

What this protects, and what it cannot

It protects your messages and pictures from us: we never receive them, so we cannot lose, sell or hand them over.

It cannot protect you from your own device. The maker of your phone or browser, and any app or extension you installed, can see what is on your screen. And as with every website, whoever controls this site or its domain name could serve you different code. That is why the claim here is narrow and checkable, not a promise of absolute independence.

How to verify

Open your browser’s developer tools, watch the Network tab while you check a message, and you will see no request leaving your device. Or check one message, switch off your Wi-Fi, and check another.
